VPNKL Troubleshooting Guide

Organized by account, connection, routes and billing. Start with the basic checks for your symptoms, then submit a ticket with the exact client message and route name.

ACCOUNT

Account & Subscription

Guidance on registration credentials, subscription access, configuration updates and using multiple devices.

Is an email address required to register for VPNKL?
No email address is required. Register with a username and password. Choose a username that you do not reuse on other websites, and store your password securely. After registration, use the user panel to view plans, retrieve subscription details and open the client page. Because you are responsible for your login credentials, confirm that you have recorded your username accurately after registration to avoid forgetting it when switching browsers or devices.
Where can I get my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel, open the subscription or client section, and follow the instructions for your platform to retrieve the subscription details. Do not publish the subscription link or forward it to untrusted third parties. Import it through the subscription import option provided by your client rather than repeatedly opening it as a regular webpage. If the subscription status shown in the panel differs from the client, refresh the user panel before importing again.
How should I update my subscription link?
When the route list changes, find the option in your client to update the subscription, refresh the configuration or sync routes, then update the VPNKL subscription you already imported. You usually do not need to delete the entire client configuration. After the update, review the route list again and select the desired region. If old routes remain, disconnect first, confirm that the subscription source still points to the information provided by the user panel, and refresh it again.
Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?
You do not need to buy another plan just because you changed devices. VPNKL supports unlimited devices online at the same time, and the same account subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. On a new device, get the client instructions from the user panel and import the subscription again. Avoid copying an old client folder containing local rules and cache. When an old device is no longer in use, delete the subscription information stored on it.
CONNECTION

Connection & Troubleshooting

Narrow down the issue step by step, starting with the subscription status, client configuration and local network.

Why can’t I connect after importing my subscription?
First confirm that the subscription is still valid and refresh the route list in the client. Then test a route in another region or with a different route type. If no route can connect, close and reopen the client, and check that the system allows it to establish network connections. If the issue persists, note the platform, the client message and the route name, then submit a ticket through the user panel so the issue can be checked based on its specific status.
Why isn’t a particular app using the accelerated route?
A common reason is that the client is in rule mode and the app’s destination is not covered by the current rules. Temporarily switch the client to global mode for comparison. If the app works globally, the issue is usually in the split-routing rules. Update the subscription and rules, then switch back to your normal connection mode. If only specific content fails to load, try another exit region to rule out regional service restrictions.
What should I do if the connection keeps dropping after switching networks?
When switching between wired, Wi-Fi and mobile networks, the existing connection may fail because the local network exit has changed. Disconnect manually in the client, wait for the system network to recover, and reconnect. Do not switch rapidly between multiple routes. If the client retains a failed state, exit it completely and reopen it. You can also test another route to determine whether the issue comes from the local network, the current exit or a single route, and include reliable reproduction steps in your ticket.
What should I do if the client says it is connected but webpages still will not open?
Try other websites first to determine whether all access is failing or only one site is affected. Then switch routes and temporarily disable browser extensions that may alter network settings. If other apps work but the browser does not, restart the browser and check whether it is using separate network settings. If no app can access the internet, disconnect the current route, refresh the subscription and reconnect instead of continuing to use an invalid local cache.
ROUTING

Speed & Routes

Route selection should account for the exit region, link type, destination and local network.

How should I choose a route during peak evening hours?
During peak evening hours, compare route types first and exit regions second. Try an IEPL dedicated route or a relay route, and choose an exit that matches the target service region. Do not repeatedly reconnect to the same route in one region; compare it with a nearby region instead. After connecting, keep the session active for a while and observe whether loading remains stable. Frequent route changes make apps establish new sessions and may increase waiting time. If the issue continues, record the route name and the situation in which it occurred.
Is the closest route always the fastest?
Not necessarily. Physical distance is only one factor. The cross-border link’s relay method, peak-hour congestion and the target service’s region also matter. For ordinary webpages, start with a nearby region. For region-limited content, prioritize an exit matching the content region. For tools that require a consistent connection, compare actual stability. Choose based on your network and destination rather than judging a route only by its region name.
What should I do if streaming quality drops?
First confirm that the selected exit region meets the content service’s regional requirements, then try another route in the same region. Streaming services adjust quality automatically based on connection conditions, so lower quality may appear temporarily after switching routes. Stop playback and reopen the content to let the app check the connection again. If the drop occurs only during peak hours, switch to an IEPL dedicated route or relay route and pause high-bandwidth tasks on other devices to reduce concurrent traffic competing under the same subscription.
Is it normal for the same route to have different speeds on different devices?
It can happen. Device performance, system network settings, client implementation, the local wireless environment and background tasks can all affect the result. For troubleshooting, connect the devices to the same local network, stop synchronization or download tasks, and access the same destination through the same route. If the difference remains clear, update the subscription configuration for the relevant platform and check whether one device uses a different split-routing method. Do not judge route quality directly from results measured on different network environments.
How should I understand 100+ countries / 230+ routes?
VPNKL covers 100+ countries / 230+ routes. Country coverage describes the available exit regions, while the route count represents combinations of regions and link types. You do not need to test every route. Filter by the target service’s region first, then compare IEPL dedicated routes, relay routes and direct routes based on your local network. The route list may change with network scheduling, so refresh the subscription regularly in the client to obtain the currently available configuration.
BILLING

Billing & Refunds

Distinguish monthly plans from data packages, and verify the billing method before submitting an order.

What pricing and data allowances are available with monthly plans?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose based on your usual browsing, file transfer and streaming needs rather than looking only at the monthly price. Every tier works on platforms supported by VPNKL and supports unlimited devices online at the same time. Data belongs to the account subscription, not to individual devices, so multiple devices share and consume the allowance of the current plan.
When does monthly plan data reset, and how does an upgrade work mid-cycle?
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. Check the subscription period shown in the user panel when reviewing remaining data. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days, so the upgraded validity period is handled differently from buying a new plan outright. Before proceeding, check the remaining data and current status, then choose the desired tier in the user panel so that an upgrade is not confused with adding a separate data package.
Do data packages expire?
Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Available options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with irregular usage who prefer to consume a fixed total allowance, and differ from monthly plans that reset on the activation date. Choose based on your usage pattern and do not treat a data package as a plan that resets each month. Check the user panel for the current status and remaining data.
Which payment methods does VPNKL support?
Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Open the user panel, select a plan and view the corresponding payment option on the checkout page. Before paying, verify the selected plan, data allowance and billing method. Do not combine a monthly plan with a data package that never expires. After payment, return to the user panel to check the order and subscription status. If the status does not update promptly, do not submit the order repeatedly; refresh the order record first, then explain the issue in a ticket.
How do I request a refund?
VPNKL offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. Sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and refund request instead of creating multiple records for the same issue. Keep the client message and order status available for verification. Base the request on the actual order shown in the user panel. If the issue is only a connection problem, include the platform, route name and symptoms in the ticket so support can help determine whether it is a configuration issue or requires further refund processing.
